Legal Policy

Cookie Policy

This policy explains how Bookbloom LLC (operating Knovia) uses cookies and similar technologies, why we use them, and how you can manage them. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.

Last updated: August 2026

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site work, remember preferences, and keep you signed in.

We also use similar technologies such as localStorage and IndexedDB (for example for cart draft state, UI preferences, and offline reading). This policy covers those as well.

2. Cookies and Similar Storage We Use

Most of what we set is strictly necessary or functional (login, security, locale, referral attribution, consent record). We do not use advertising or cross-site behavioural profiling cookies.

Occasional operational cookies (for example a maintenance-bypass cookie for authorised staff) may be set for Platform operations and are not used for advertising.

3. Marketing and Advertising Cookies (Consent Required)

After you choose Accept all, we may load marketing and measurement technologies via Google Tag Manager, including:

  • Google Analytics 4 — aggregated traffic and engagement measurement
  • Google Ads — conversion measurement and remarketing (when campaigns are active)
  • Meta Pixel (and server-side Conversions API) — ad delivery, measurement, and retargeting
  • LinkedIn Insight Tag — B2B campaign measurement when campaigns are active
  • TikTok Pixel — campaign measurement when campaigns are active

These tags may set third-party cookies or similar identifiers. They load only after Accept all. Choosing Essential only keeps essential and functional cookies and does not load marketing tags. We do not sell personal information. Hosting-level performance analytics (for example Vercel Analytics / Speed Insights) remain first-party operational measurement and are not advertising pixels.

4. How to Manage Cookies

You can control cookies in your browser (view, delete, block). Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break login and protected pages.

  • Blocking auth cookies logs you out and prevents access to purchases and dashboards.
  • Blocking referral cookies prevents ambassador / recruitment attribution.
  • Clearing site data removes offline caches, cart drafts, and local preferences.
  • To change your Knovia consent choice, use Change cookie preferences.
